Free Play Days: Try These Xbox Games For Free (November 5-8)

Update [Thu 5th Nov 2026, 4:06pm]: Xbox Wire has released the official Free Play Days lineup for this week, adding Ball x Pit, Crime Boss: Rockay City, and IXION to our roundup. They didn't mention NBA 2K27's free trial, but we thought we'd leave it in the list.

Original Story: It's Thursday, which means it's time for your latest batch of Xbox Free Play Days titles!

So far, we know of five* games in the lineup, thanks to some digging from Redditor Oliomono. They're usually on the money with FPD stuff, but Xbox typically adds another one or two games to the final list.

The heisting FPS Payday 3 is joined by a wide range of experiences, including some social deception fun in Deceive Inc. and Ubisoft's Anno 117: Pax Romana. We've also spotted a sixth* game that could potentially feature this weekend. NBA 2K27 appears to be offering a free trial on the Xbox Store, so it wouldn't surprise us if it's included.

Here's what we know about Xbox's latest Free Play Days lineup so far:

• Age of Wonders 4 (XGP required)

• Anno 117: Pax Romana
• Ball x Pit (XGP required)
• Crime Boss: Rockay City
• Deceive Inc. (XGP required)
• IXION(XGP required) (2-hour trial)
• NBA 2K27 (limited trial)
• Nowhere Prophet (XGP required)
• Payday 3 (XGP required)

These games should be free to play until late on November 8, with a slight chance to go on longer. It's also par of the course to see discounts attached to FPD games, which makes adding them to your permanent collection a little easier on the wallet.

We'll leave you with some instructions on how to download these below, and let us know what you'll be playing!
