Bomb Bag upgrades
There are two Bomb Bag upgrades to collect: the Bigger Bomb Bag and the Biggest Bomb Bag.
Bigger Bomb Bag:
The Bigger Bomb Bag is unlocked by completing the second round of the bowling minigame at Bombchu Bowling Alley in Hyrule Castle Town as Child Link.
Previously, the Bigger Bomb Bag was given out as a random reward from this minigame, but after testing, we can confirm this is your reward after completing the second round of the minigame. This will set you back 20 Rupees in total, so come prepared!
Biggest Bomb Bag:
The Biggest Bomb Bag is unlocked by helping the rolling Goron stop at the correct spot in Goron City as Child Link. On the second floor of the city, you should spot a Goron rolling wildly around the area, and to the north, you'll see a wooden sign that reads 'If you can stop my wild rolling here, you might just get something great!'.
Now, the goal here is to throw a Bomb at the rolling Goron as he approaches the wooden sign, making him stop rolling right beside it. Be careful to try and avoid the blast, but you can also tank the damage of the explosion if you've enough Heart Pieces! (The blast will only rob you of half a heart of Health, so don't worry.)
Once the Goron has recovered from being stunned (and has been stopped in the correct spot), speak with him to be given the Biggest Bomb Bag as your reward.
Deku Seeds Bag upgrades
There are two Deku Seed Bag upgrades to collect: the Bigger Deku Seeds Bag and the Biggest Deku Seeds Bag.
Bigger Deku Seeds Bag:
The Bigger Deku Seed Bag is unlocked by shooting the target in Lost Woods as Child Link. To do this, enter Lost Woods and go right through the first tree trunk, then the target should be directly in front of you.
Fire three seeds at the centre of this target using your Fairy Slingshot and a nearby Deku Scrub will reward you with the Bigger Deku Seed Bag!
Biggest Deku Seeds Bag:
The Biggest Deku Seed Bag is unlocked by taking part in the Shooting Gallery minigame in Hyrule Castle Town as Child Link.
During this minigame, you're given 15 shots and must try to break 10 targets with them. If you manage to do so successfully, the Shooting Gallery Operator will reward you with the Biggest Deku Seeds Bag upgrade!
Deku Nuts Bag upgrades
There are two Deku Nut Bag upgrades to collect: the Bigger Deku Nut Bag and the Biggest Deku Nut Bag.
Bigger Deku Nut Bag:
The Bigger Deku Nut Bag is unlocked in the Forest Stage in the Lost Woods as Child Link. To actually unlock the upgrade however, you'll need to have completed the mask side quest so that you've access to the Mask of Truth. Then, wear the Mask of Truth upon arriving in the Forest Stage.
The Deku Scrubs here will hate Link's new mask, but they will fortunately reward you with the Bigger Deku Nut Bag for trying to impress them with it.
Biggest Deku Nut Bag:
The Biggest Deku Nut Bag is unlocked by destroying the boulder before the Sacred Grove in Lost Woods as Child or Adult Link.
To do this, enter the Lost Woods and go right through the first tree trunk. Then go left, right, and left again through the following tree trunks. Finally, go straight ahead and left to reach a boulder. (Alternatively, go to the Sacred Grove and the boulder you need to destroy is in front of its entrance.)
Destroy this boulder using a Bomb then dive into the hole beneath it. Below, attack the two Business Scrubs and then speak to them afterwards. They'll offer to sell you the Biggest Deku Nut Bag for 40 Rupees!
Deku Sticks Bag upgrades
There are two Deku Sticks Bag upgrades to collect: the Bigger Deku Sticks Bag and the Biggest Deku Sticks Bag.
Bigger Deku Sticks Bag:
The Bigger Deku Sticks Bag is unlocked by attacking a Business Scrub in the Lost Woods as Child Link, and then buying the upgrade from him. To do this, enter the Lost Woods and go left twice through the tree trunks, then follow the path ahead to arrive at the hostile Business Scrub.
Attack him and he'll quickly surrender, then will offer to sell you something special as an apology: the Bigger Deku Sticks Bag. To seal the deal, you'll need to have over 40 Rupees, so make sure you come here with some Rupees to hand!
Biggest Deku Sticks Bag:
The Biggest Deku Sticks Bag is unlocked in the Forest Stage in the Lost Woods as Child Link. To actually unlock the upgrade however, you'll need to have started the mask side quest so that you've access to the Skull Mask. Then, wear the Skull Mask upon arriving in the Forest Stage.
Upon doing this, the Deku Scrubs will reward you with the Biggest Deku Sticks Bag.
Quiver upgrades
There are two Quiver upgrades to collect: the Bigger Quiver and the Biggest Quiver.
Bigger Quiver:
The Bigger Quiver is unlocked by taking part in the Shooting Gallery minigame in Kakariko Village as Adult Link.
You need to destroy all 10 targets within your 15 arrow limit. It costs 30 Rupees for each round of the minigame.
Biggest Quiver:
The Biggest Quiver is unlocked by taking part in the Horseback Archery minigame in Gerudo Fortress as Adult Link.
You need to obtain over 1,400 Points or more and have 20 Arrows to do so. The trick is to destory all of the jars as quickly as possible to get an easy 700 Points. After that, you can get the rest by hitting the targets. Ideally you'll want to get 100 Points by hitting the centre of the target every time, but you can still go over 1,400 by mixing in some 60 and 80 hits.
Strength upgrades
There are three Strength upgrades to collect: Goron's Bracelet, the Silver Gauntlets, and the Golden Gauntlets.
Goron's Bracelet:
You can unlock Goron's Bracelet by making your way to Goron City and meeting with Darunia as Child Link. After meeting him, play Saria's Song on the Ocarina while standing in front of him to quell his anger. As a reward, Darunia will give you the bracelet.
Silver Gauntlets:
The Silver Gauntlets are unlocked at the end of the Child Link portion of the Spirit Temple.
Golden Gauntlets:
The Golden Gauntlets are unlocked in Ganondorf's Castle as Adult Link.
Magic Meter upgrades
When it comes to the Magic Meter upgrade, you first need to unlock the Magic Meter then you can collect the Double Magic Meter upgrade.
Magic Meter:
The Magic Meter is unlocked by meeting with the Great Fairy of Magic atop Death Mountain as Child Link. She'll give you the Din's Fire ability upon tracking her down, which then unlocks the Magic Meter.
Double Magic Meter:
The Double Magic Meter upgrade is unlocked by meeting with the Great Fairy in the Death Mountain Crater as Adult Link. To reach her, you'll also need to have the Megaton Hammer unlocked.
Dive Time upgrades
There are two Dive Time upgrades to collect: the Silver Scale and Golden Scale.
Silver Scale:
The Silver Scale is unlocked by completing the diving minigame in the Zora Domain as Child Link. This minigame tasks you with collecting five scales from the water in 40 seconds or less, and doing so successfully will see you rewarded with the Silver Scale!
Golden Scale:
The Golden Scale is unlocked by fishing in Lake Hylia's Fishing Pond as Adult Link. Though, you'll need to catch a fish that is 60cm or more to receive this!
Double Defense upgrade
To get your hands on the Double Defense upgrade, you need to pay a visit to the Great Fairy that's outside of Ganondorf's Castle as Adult Link. To do this however, you'll first need to have retrieved the Golden Gauntlets from inside of Ganondorf's Castle.
Wallet upgrades
There are three Wallet upgrades to collect: the Kokiri Wallet, the Adult's Wallet, and the Giant's Wallet.
The Kokiri Wallet is in Link's possession at the beginning of the game, and you'll need to earn the latter two Wallet upgrades.
The Adult's Wallet is a reward for collecting 10 Gold Skulltula Tokens, whereas the Giant's Wallet is a reward for collecting 30 Gold Skulltula Tokens.
It's also worth noting that how many Rupees each Wallet can hold has changed slightly since the original game. The Kokiri Wallet holds 200 Rupees (this held 99 Rupees previously), the Adult's Wallet holds 500 Rupees (this held 200 Rupees previously), and the Giant's Wallet can now hold a whopping 1000 Rupees (this held 500 Rupees previously).
Good luck collecting all of the upgrades in Ocarina of Time. For more upgrades and collectible items, take a look at where to find all Heart Pieces, where to find all Big Poes, and where to find all Empty Bottles.
