Blue Archive Adds Open-World Story Chapter With Haruka and Mutsuki Dress

Nexon has released a new Blue Archive story chapter featuring open-area exploration, alongside a Pick-Up Recruitment for ★3 students Haruka (Dress) and Mutsuki (Dress). The new boss Drumbarka will also enter Total Assault on September 22, 2026.

Haruka (Dress) and Mutsuki (Dress) are available through Pick-Up Recruitment until September 29. Haruka (Dress) is an Explosive-type Striker who sacrifices some of her own HP to deal defense-ignoring damage to a single target. She is designed to serve as a primary damage dealer during the second phase of the upcoming Drumbarka encounter.

Mutsuki (Dress) specializes in single-target burst damage through her EX Skill. Her Basic Skill also reduces the Critical Damage Resistance of enemies within its range, giving her a role during the first phase of the Drumbarka fight on Lunatic difficulty.

The September 16 update also adds Lore Pursuit Chapter 2, titled What’s Inside the Drum Barrel. The story follows FOX Squad after the Federal Student Council President sends the group to investigate a disappearance at Kanezaki Port connected to the urban legend known as Drumbarka.

The new content uses an open-area format that lets players explore Kanezaki Port, search for hidden clues, and make choices.

Drumbarka will move from the story into Total Assault beginning September 22. The boss has Light Armor and Special Armor defense types and uses several EX Skills. Counter Claw stores damage while Drumbarka is in a defensive stance before releasing it, while Main Cannon Fire launches a large cannon attack.
