Brazilian developer Lightmancer Studios and publisher Nuntius Games have announced that their gothic hack-and-slash roguelite BloodRush: Undying Wish will leave Steam Early Access on December 3, 2026. It will also launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on the same day.
The announcement follows over a year of Early Access development, during which the team released more than 30 patches addressing bugs, combat balance, accessibility, and other systems. Several abilities also received substantial reworks based on player feedback.
BloodRush: Undying Wish takes place in a setting where Death has been imprisoned, leaving humanity unable to die. However, people continue to suffer from aging, hunger, disease, and physical pain. Players control a protagonist attempting to restore Death by confronting the Cult of Eternity and those responsible for its imprisonment.
Combat comprises fast movement, weapon combinations, and a constantly decreasing health meter. Players must maintain their health by chaining attacks and movement abilities while fighting groups.
Players can earn six weapons, numerous Talents, Combat Arts, and Enhancements. The full release will also introduce a final boss encounter, an additional playable weapon, and the conclusions to several major storylines. These additions will expand the content available to players who have already experienced the Early Access version.
