Where Winds Meet – Version 2.2 Overview

Story Content

Version 2.2 introduces the finale of the Hidden Mountain main story arc (“Bringer of Embers”). The quest includes two chapters A Bitter Winter and Sea of Sunfire, culminating in the confrontation with the returning villain Qianye the Witch.
After completing the story players will get special rewards. Players must finish Hidden Mountain Chapter III: Gold Crow Fall to unlock it.

Skyward City Ruins Campaign

Players can explore Grandmaster’s mysterious past amid the ruins of the flying city. First victory unlocks further rewards; repeated clears offer the Face Ornament: Steadfast Veil.

New World Bosses

Golden Colossus Taicu: Located in the lake near the Soughing Knoll Boundary Stone (large mechanical boss).
Goshawk: Found on a mountain outside Mirkvale (fire-oriented fight).

Both drop Medicinal Tales, Inner Way Notes, and Echo Jades. Trackable via the Journal.

Multiplayer Mode

  • Transdust Ruins (launches September 23, 2026 at 06:00 UTC+8)
  • Wuxia-flavoredextraction mode. Collect valuable items, optionally fight other players for their loot, and successfully extract. Available in Solo, Trio, AI Solo, or AI Trio. Requires Level 20 + completion of the quest “Sands of Perils.”
  • Wildtrail Journal: Ruffled Up: Challenge the Goose Overlord and attendants (accessed via Companion menu).
  • Trekking for Treasures: Hide-and-seek treasure hunt with Elder Stork in Mohist City.
  • Goose Greeting: Daily login rewards, cumulative milestones. Excess energy/stamina converts to Serenity Pills on weekdays; event quests grant Sweep

Cosmetics and Battle Pass

  • New Chilled Current Battle Pass season begins.
  • Notable limited appearances include:
  • Bane of Life (hairstyle & accessory set)
  • Thousand Blessings (dyeable top/bottom)
  • Mistwreath (hairstyle)
  • Myriad Sounds: Snow’s Lament (umbrella) & Wind’s Reply (fan)

Additional VFX and outfits (e.g., Valor Aflame Stormbreaker Spear effects) roll out later in the version.

Quality-of-Life and Fixes

  • Guild Roster homepage is now editable. Guild Management can pin selected members to the top; other members are sorted by activity from the previous week.
  • Guild War now includes personal and guild seasonal statistics (league and matchmaking data). Available starting from the new season; past-season data will be added later.
  • Boss talent tracking improved: when claiming rewards after clearing the Guild Hero’s Realm, reward counts are now recorded for both bosses.
  • Exceptional performers in Guild events receive honorary titles, which can be displayed on the Guild Roster and in Guild chat.
  • Blacklist added to the Guild Base. You can blacklist individual players or entire guilds; blacklisted players cannot visit your Guild Base.
  • Fixed an issue where the [Hidden Scent] tailored outfit displayed incorrectly during certain results animations.
  • Fixed a description mismatch for the Sword Energy Damage Boost on the [Nameless Sword].
