If you’ve played Phantom Blade Zero, you already know that the boss fights are one of the best things about the game. Some of these fights are downright ridiculous, especially when you think you’ve finally beaten a boss, only to find out they’ve got another phase waiting for you. And if you haven’t played it yet, we’ve got something for you, assuming you don’t mind spoilers.
After spending over 60 hours with Phantom Blade Zero for our PC review, we decided to put together a massive boss fight compilation featuring 54 boss encounters, captured on PC in 4K at 60FPS. That’s several hours of boss fights, including multiple phases, some frustrating moments, and plenty of fights that reminded us why we enjoyed the game so much.
Now, before someone points it out, there’s one boss encounter we weren’t able to access. The Yucong puppet boss has a fight where you’re supposed to face all three variations, Steel Yucong, Frost Yucong, and Chaos Yucong. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the weapon required to trigger that encounter. We did get to fight the lesser versions, though, and those are included in the video.
We’ve also included the game’s final ending and end credits, so if you’re still making your way through Phantom Blade Zero, consider this your spoiler warning. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy several hours of boss fights without commentary. Oh, and there’s timestamps on the video so you can jump around the video, since that’s a lot of bosses.
