Duet Night Abyss Drops New Update Towards the Dawn with Rhythm

Duet Night Abyss has received its latest major update, Towards the Dawn. It brings a new version of Rhythm, additional story content, seasonal events, co-op boss battles, and fresh cosmetics. Developed by Pan Studio and Hero Games, the hybrid action RPG continues to build on its combat system. Let me tell you how.

The combat system lets you switch between melee and ranged weapons while combining movement abilities such as Helix Leap to keep battles fast and fluid. Its narrative also continues through two story arcs, Chapter Noctoyager and Chapter Twilight, which explore interconnected fates from different perspectives.

Duet Night Abyss Towards the Dawn drops Rhythm: Flamewrought, a new Electro incarnation of the playable character Rhythm. Following a series of dramatic events that force her to reconsider her former life, Rhythm takes on a new identity and a different approach to combat.

Equipped with a Katana and an Assault Rifle, she can move between close-range attacks and precision shooting. And her sniping abilities allow her to charge bullets before unleashing electrically charged attacks against enemies.

There are several ways to obtain Rhythm: Flamewrought. You can recruit her through the limited-time Immersive Theatre reward pool, which also features the grenade launcher Blessed Burden. Alternatively, she can be acquired for free through Covert Commission or purchased directly from the in-game shop.

Towards the Dawn also introduces new outfits to Duet Night Abyss

It also brings back some previously available cosmetics. Rhythm: Flamewrought receives Veil In Shadows, a witch-themed Myriad outfit accompanied by matching weapon skins. Meanwhile, the Treats Galore collection arrives on 10 November, bringing pumpkin-inspired outfits for Lisbell, Truffle, and Filbert.

Players who missed out on earlier cosmetic releases will also have another opportunity to get Su Yi’s mecha-inspired Volant Viridity outfit and the zombie-themed Fading Echoes Adrift. The Civic Ordinance uniform collection is expanding as well, with additional variants available for several characters.
